The Development
Vila Verde (the name means "green village" in Portuguese) is designed
to emulate a small colonial village amid tranquil planted areas. Plazas
located within the resort offer meeting points and leisure spaces, which
are strategically placed along a pedestrian boulevard. Over 50 shops,
several restaurants, cafes and bars are dotted along the boulevard
helping to foster the village feel. The resort also features supermarkets,
tennis courts, botanical gardens and no less than 17 swimming pools.
From the entrance, a ring road helps to keep traffic well apart from the
pedestrian areas. There are gyms and beauty salons, ample parking
spaces, and even a petrol station on-site.
The Properties
The accommodation is divided into 13 gated communities, with apartment
blocks around private open gardens with swimming pools.
Bedrooms have large sliding doors and wardrobes. Kitchens are fully
equipped with refrigerators, ovens, hobs, extractors and washing
machines, and boast high-quality granite worktops and wood-finished
cabinets. The bedrooms, lounges, kitchens and bathrooms are floored
with ceramic tiles. The two and three-bedroom town houses are in a
development with its own country club and private swimming pool. The
villas, which are positioned around the clubhouse, afford maximum
privacy and relaxation, with their own private gardens and swimming
pools. They also feature rooftop terraces of 40 sq metres, and private
swimming pools.
